Embedding Equity in a National Network

Director of Equity, Access & Belonging, 2023–Present

Outward Bound is a network of 10 regional nonprofits serving 40,000+ students. I lead a national strategy to align DEI efforts across this federated structure—building shared curriculum, funding tools, and metrics for impact.
I helped shift the network from abstract equity values to real, measurable action, with tools now embedded in hiring, risk mitigation, and student experience.

Highlights:

  • Designed and launched 6-part training suite across 1000+ staff

  • Launched Network Resource Group program

  • Introduced evaluation tools for equity-informed program models
